Student Dress Code Policy
Last Updated: July 17th 2023
Fostering a Respectful and Appropriate Appearance
Introduction:
At IPSC, we believe that a dress code plays an important role in creating a positive and focused learning environment. Our dress code policy is designed to promote a sense of unity, respect, and professionalism among our students. By adhering to these guidelines, students contribute to a school culture that values modesty, safety, and inclusivity.
General Guidelines:
Neat and Tidy Appearance:
Students are expected to present themselves in a neat and tidy manner. Uniform should be clean, free from wrinkles, and in good condition. Students should avoid wearing torn or excessively worn-out uniform.
Footwear:
For safety reasons, students are required to wear closed-toe shoes that provide adequate support. Flip-flops, sandals, and high-heeled shoes are not permitted. Exceptions may be made for specific activities or events with prior approval.
Enforcement and Consequences:
The dress code policy will be enforced by teachers, staff members, and school administrators. Students found in violation of the dress code may be asked to change into appropriate attire. Repeated or severe violations may result in disciplinary actions, including but not limited to verbal warnings, written warnings, detention, loss of privileges, fine, or parental involvement.
Conclusion:
At IPSC, we believe that a dress code policy contributes to a respectful and appropriate learning environment. By adhering to these guidelines, students demonstrate their commitment to professionalism, modesty, and respect for themselves and others. We appreciate the cooperation of all students, parents, and guardians in upholding our dress code policy and fostering a positive school culture.
